Ladies: Never miss an opportunity to do up-dog when the sequence calls for crocodile, or child's pose when you could do downward dog, because all trendy tops these days seem to be

And you need to work those muscles to get them looking good for this summer's biggest trend. 

This trend may raise the question 'what do I do for a bra?' 

well, all of these lucky girls can get away sans bra (jealous) 

For those of us 'gifted' with D cups on a tiny frame, we can use: bandeau tops, bandeau bikini tops, backless/strapless stickies, athletic tape, duct tape. Sounds like fun right? 

Or we can invest in one of those bras with the fancy lace or crochet back for this very occasion.

A woman's biggest secret is what she keeps in her bag. Sometimes though, it's really not so much a secret as an extra storage unit. I despise giant, overloaded bags. They look frumpy, they look nothing like they're supposed to. 

A girls REAL secret should be a light, versatile bag with money, phone, lipstick and hand sanitizer in it. These are really your only essential items.

Yoga.

Why I didn't sign up for Sunrise Yoga 5 years ago... I'll never know why, but I wish I had. It is by far the most amazing way to begin any day. I've been going religiously for 2 weeks now and all I can say is namaste.

And who doesn't love a toned body, clear mind and new yoga pants??

Orange Bubble Necklace and Simple Hair

I've been wearing this necklace with everything! It's bright orange (my seemingly new fav color) I've been pairing it with red, hot pink and turquoise. Orange surprisingly works great with most colors! And it's a great way to bring some sun into a dreary winterland. My wavy hair is completely natural. I finger comb it, let it air dry, tousle the roots a bit then add a thin headband to a middle part. It's the fastest and best hair style I've found since I always seem to be running late for class or work.

Puppy!!! 

His name is Rocky, after the Rocky Mountains. Technically, he is Alex's dog, but he's basically mine. He is my lovely little boy. He is so sweet and smart and the best little buddy in the world. I can't wait to get my new trail runners so him and I can go on runs together. He loves napping on my stomach and he is just the cutest, most uncoordinated little munchkin that ever existed. I'm so happy Alex brought him into our lives.

Gel Eye Liner

I've been using Mayelline EyeStudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner and I love it. Even my mom bought it. It's pure black gel/cream that comes in a little pot that I swear will last me at least 2 years. It has this perfect, tight brush that makes applying it so easy. Winged eyeliner has never been easier. Now, I'm not gonna say it's super duper easy, because you do have to have a steady hand and the right angle, but I promise that if you master the winged look, you'll never do anything else. Also try the Blackheart liquid eyeliner at HotTopic. I know it's an interesting store, but sometimes their random makeup and nail polish is worth it. I got their black liquid liner and it has this really subtle, deep green glitter in it, amazing! 

As I've been walking around campus these past two weeks, seeing the young freshman during their first Pullman winter, I can't help but think of how YOUNG they are. They are all 5 years younger than me and I can't believe it! A lot of life happens in 5 years and I find it unbelievable that my college years are coming to a close. I look in the mirror and see a 17 year old. I wonder if I'll ever look my age. I guess I shouldn't complain. I'll keep drinking my green tea and almond milk and stay young forever.

Here Comes the Bride

Well readers, I apologize for the prolonged silence. Finals week and the Holidays tend to do that to me. There is some very exciting news that I haven't had a chance to share with you yet, for certain reasons. My dear Alex and I are getting MARRIED!!

That had to have been a huge surprise, I'm guessing the title didn't give it away at all.

Anyway, we told my parents over Thanksgiving break, they reacted about the same as I expected. Their input is definitely valuable to me, but they have never once said 'Do what makes you happy', so I have had learn to always tell myself that. Alex makes me so unbelievably happy, and there is no doubt in my mind that he is the most perfect man, and the ultimate companion to share the rest of my life with. We truly are best friends, and when I see other engaged couples together, I just can't help but think 'They totally aren't as cute, or close or perfectly matched as we are.' His love has made me truly believe in soul mates. We are planning for the wedding to take place in Summer 2014. It seems so far away, but then I remembered all of the planning I have to do... and finding a dress!! Eek, it's more than enough to freak a girl out.

Lucky for me (well, I hope I'm lucky) Nordstrom, my dear, dear Nordstrom, my former (hopefully future) employer, my happy place, my go-to shopping destination, is doing a bridal giveaway involving Pinterest. I'm a pretty mean pinner myself, so hopefully this important, rare talent of mine will bring me success, and way closer to a gorgeous Vera Wang gown.
